Have you thought about starting a niche affiliate marketing business instead of a MLM. I don't care who you may be with or what products they have. I personally believe many are just fed up with having a MLM for their home business. Only about 5% make any money and a very small percentage of those make what you could call "quit my day job" money. The odds for making the big bucks are just not that good for most people.
When you tire of trying to promote some network marketing scheme but still want a home business then niche marketing could be your answer. We can't advertise our products and services to the world at large but we don't have to. You can still make a pretty decent living... thanks to the Internet.
Why not start a niche marketing business?
Niche marketing is selling specific products or services to a limited audience. One person with a computer, an internet connection and a good idea can go into business for himself on the Internet. You can target the people who would be most interested in what he have to sell and do all of the above on a very limited advertising budget. Your biggest expense is likely what you pay your internet service provider.
How do you find your niche to promote. Think of things that most interest you. There is likely a product or service relating to that interest. Write a few articles and make some blogs promoting that product can produce some very substantial income. Can't think of a niche to promote? When was the last time you stood in front of a magazine display. Each magazine there is targeting a specific segment of the population. If you pick up a magazine that interest you then check the articles within that magazine, even the add. That is what niche marketing is all about.
Finding your niche products.
Look through the marketplace in Clickbank or Commission junction. You can get many good ideas by doing just that. Search Amazon through the thousands of items that may interest you. Check the comments and see if the item seems to have a good positive interest. Even while you watch the TV or browse the internet something will usually get your attention and likely there is a product or service you can promote similar to that.
Finding the right niche and products for that niche isn't really all that difficult. With services like Clickbank and Commission Junction there are literally thousands of products to choose from and promote. Amazon has thousands of products. Niche marketing mostly uses articles and blogs to guide folks to your offer. These can be mostly free to use.
One Week Marketing.
There are a few products that can really help you get started in affiliate niche marketing. When I first came across a program offered by someone called PotPieGirl I just had to check it out if for no other reason than why someone would 
have a username of PotPieGirl. I was somewhat intrigued with her manual called: One Week Marketing
She let me download the first 18 pages with out having to spend a dime to understand more about her niche marketing methods. Pretty neat way to market something so after studying those pages I went ahead and ordered it.
I received not one but several manuals from her on niche marketing with my order. After studying them I dropped a network marketing program I was in and went full time into niche affiliate marketing. Having a lot more fun with this than I was trying to promote that other MLM too. It's just so much easier to get traffic to my sites promoting products this way. About 9 days after I order her manual and implementing the things she suggested I made my first sale. That was pretty cool seeing that in my clickbank account. :)
